Bee Asha has worked for 14 years within community care and activism alongside her creative career. She is a freelance Writing Workshop host, Events Organiser & HR Consultant.
Over the last 5 years she has raised over £360K towards her charity work. This Month raising £4,400 at day event for Palestinian families in Egypt & Gaza.
Spit it Out
In 2019 Bee was the protagonist in the BBC documentary by Lea Luiz de Oliveira’s - Spit it Out. The Documentary followed Bee whilst she used her writing and music as a cathartic tool to open up and heal from a sexual trauma.
She then went on to Co-found the award wining Charity, The Spit it Out Project. Raising over £350k, hosting over 250 events and engaging over 6000 individuals to have open conversations around Metal ill Health, Transformative Justice, Community Care and Cathartic Creativity.
